WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF THE BOW TIES

FACT1.Memory.

IN BRIEF:

#For some unknown reason, I am convinced that at some point I'll forget every single thing that right now is stocked inside my head under the label "info about the world, me and everything".

#Also, I am convinced that I already forget things that I should remember and I am constantly worried that I cannot recall what things since I have forgotten about them in the first place.

NOTES/ANECDOTES:
A few years ago, I was watching "Memento" with a friend of mine. We were watching the movie for the (second?third?) time and we were slowly coming to realize a slightly disturbing fact: we were both actually identifying with the lead character..That is, the guy that after a terrible hit in the head is diagnosed with a short memory loss problem and has to keep track of everything he does because his memory is gone after a few minutes...Well, things could be worst, I guess.. we could be watching "Silence of the lambs" and realize that we identify with Hannibal Lecter. Yet, it's rather annoying to have the memory abilities of a goldfish, when you have spend less than 3 decades on this planet and there is nothing medically/physically wrong with you.
So, yeah. Fact 1: Memory/ Potential memory loss/ fear of potential memory loss/ paranoia all together.

FACT1.Pure Pop culture addictions/obsessions.

IN BRIEF:

My head is full of music and music and music and ......and TV and films.
I have probably spend more time in that universe rather than in this one. And that means a lot of info. Useless for the survival of the human race in the case of an emergency, yes, but numerous nevertheless.

NOTES/ANECDOTES:

#I grew up in the 80's. My friends wanted me to come out and play, I wanted to stay in and watch MTV. Forever. I think I watched as much as is humanly possible. Until MTV became an atrocious musiczombie and I stopped. Thank goodness or I would have never left the house.
#When I was an adolescent we went on family vacation and I brought with me a tiny TV. Then I pretended I got sick and while the rest of the family enjoyed the sun/sea I was secretly watching my then favorite TV show, back in the hotel room. Dark hotel room. I kept the blinds closed because the sun was too bright and my TV screen was too small.
#My family took me to the movies even before I was old enough to actually understand what was going on exactly, on screen. As far as I was concerned that was great because I LOVED "the movies", something that hasn't changed to this day. On the negative side, I developed a decade long nuclear bomb phobia after watching the "Empire of the Sun" twice when I was 7(?8?9?) and I have a deep hate for ALL things Stanley Kubrick to this date (movies, photos, his name) after my dad took my brother and me to a special screening of "2001: A Space Odyssey" when I was 5(?6?7?).
