On the 18th of August, David Byrne and Brian Eno released a new album. According to D. Byrne:
"Brian Eno and I recently finished our first collaboration in about 30 years. The name of the new record is "Everything That Happens Will Happen Today". For the most part, Brian did the music and I wrote some tunes, words and sang. It's familiar but completely new as well. We're pretty excited."
On the official website you can download a free track and listen to the whole album online for free (in excellent streaming quality I might add), so this is pretty cool.
These two artists have been incredibly inspirational and influential for me. So, this is a perfect opportunity for TBT to visit the wonderful world of Byrne and Eno. Today's post will focus on their music collaborations (PART I) whereas the two posts that will follow will focus on TBT favorite moments in their respective solo careers (PART II and III).
